With 12.0 secs remaining Lofton Jr is in the paint while his team is in control of the ball, player number 4 is about to star a dribbling.
With 11.1 secs remaining player number 4 is dribbling to his right, Lofton Jr is still in the paint.
With 09.9 secs remaining player number 4 changes to the left, Lofton Jr is still in the paint, He is been there for 2.1 secs.
With 09.0 secs remaining player number 4 continues in control of the ball nobody else touches it, Lofton Jr is still in the Paint, He is been there for 3.0 secs and he is not making an attempt to leave the restricted área. The 3 secs rule is broken so the referee must call a violation. (check art 26 FIBA rules)
With 08.5 secs remaining Lofton Jr seems to make an attempt to leave the área, but he has been there for 3.5 secs, tolerance to “pause” the rule does not apply anymore, all that hapens hence forth does not count
